This is genuine fresh ube jam purchased locally in Baguio, a summer resort area in the Philippines.
The label says to keep it refrigerated even before opening the package, but locally it is sold at room temperature storage in a summer resort area.
Although it is always summer in the Philippines, Baguio is close to the current climate in Japan, and I think it is safe to store in a cool, dark place before opening and refrigerated after opening.
